We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to the role of Learning Support Assistant / Personal Care Assistant (LSA/PCA) to join our dedicated team of LSA/PCAs. This role for a 20 / 30-hour contract is temporary, in the first instance, until 31 August 2023, with the possibility of leading to a permanent position.
The Head of Care has responsibility for leading all elements of residential care at NCW, and the role is both strategic and operational. You will ensure that all students are well cared for and supported by our team of trained Care staff, following the guidelines laid down by current legalisation.
NCW’s Activities Team offers all students a variety of leisure activities, outdoor pursuits and sports that challenge their physical and mental wellbeing, to improve and enhance their confidence and self-esteem. A Youth Club Worker is required to work closely with the team to provide a programme of activities, primarily outside the normal teaching day (i.e. evenings and weekends).
The Examinations Officer will manage the external and internal examinations in College, and support staff with up-to-date information regarding syllabuses and examination boards. There will need to be a degree of flexibility in hours because of the seasonal nature of the role, ie during College holidays and in particular around exam results days.
We are seeking to appoint a caring and committed member of staff to provide high quality care to our wonderful students. This satisfying role involves working directly with the students to ensure they are in the best place possible to succeed, socially and academically.
The Facilities Manager would be responsible for all aspects of the College facilities management to ensure the safety, security and cleanliness of the College buildings and grounds at all times. You will also ensure that the site is adequately maintained, and contribute to NCW’s plans regarding premises management, including the 10-year site development strategy.
