NCW Welcomes New Student Leadership Team

Student leadership has a long and proud history at NCW, with generations of Head Students and student leaders representing their peers and playing an important role in school life. This year is no different, and we are delighted to see that tradition continue with Natalie and George as our new Student Leadership Team!

The appointments follow a closely contested selection process, giving candidates the opportunity to share their ideas, aspirations and vision for the NCW community.

Candidates delivered presentations in assembly before staff and students voted for their top two. They then took part in formal interviews with a panel comprising Mr Stephens, Mrs Cheema, Honey, Chair of School Council, and Zac, Vice Chair of School Council.

With the results incredibly close at each stage, all candidates demonstrated commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm for contributing to life at NCW.

Following the presentations, voting and interviews, we are delighted to introduce our new Student Leadership Team:

Representing NCW

The Student Leadership Team is about much more than holding a title. Natalie and George will act as positive role models for their peers, championing the student voice and helping to represent the values of NCW across our school community.

Their roles will also see them represent NCW on a wider scale, both on and off campus. They will have opportunities to act as ambassadors for the school, helping to showcase our community and the achievements, experiences and perspectives of our students.

We are excited to see Natalie and George grow into their new roles and become proud representatives of NCW and our students.

A huge congratulations to Natalie and George! We are looking forward to seeing them take on their new roles, represent their fellow students and make a positive contribution to the NCW community over the coming year.

We would also like to congratulate and thank all the candidates for the time, thought and effort they put into the selection process. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves.
