Inspiring, nurturing and empowering young people with a vision impairment.

Subjects

At New College Worcester, our aim is to maximise educational outcomes for all students who are vision impaired.

We pride ourselves on being a specialist school which follows the national curriculum, as well as encompassing an Additional VI Curriculum. This curriculum is used to define concepts and skills that are vital in enabling learners with a vision impairment to live independently.

Education at NCW is provided by employing the highest quality teachers who are qualified to teach the vision impaired (QTVI), alongside outstanding facilities and resources.

We understand that to those with a vision impairment,  different subjects can be difficult to access. Therefore, utilising a range of teaching techniques, technology and a variety of accessible formats, we ensure that every student is given opportunity and learns to their own potential.
