Funding secured for a classroom refurbishment

We are excited to announce that thanks to the Vinchel Foundation, we are able to continue with our classroom refurbishment programme at NCW.

The Vinchel Foundation is a charitable trust that specifically funds projects linked to blindness and vision impairment.

Last month we had the pleasure of welcoming Alastair Tulloch from the Vinchel Foundation to NCW for a tour and to meet some of our students. We were able to show him the classrooms that had been refurbished and see how our students are benefiting from them.

The refurbished classroom will be designed specifically around the needs of our students. It will include features such as specialist lighting and blinds, interactive screens and purpose built desk. The works are planned for later in the school year during school holidays.

We are delighted by this news and very much look forward to welcoming the Vinchel Foundation into our school community and working together on future projects.

Once again, thank you to Vinchel Foundation for their support.
