Earlier this spring, our Sixth Form Enterprise Group got into the Valentine’s Day spirit with a fantastic fundraising initiative! The group, led by Mrs Rossoman, sold single red roses and beautifully crafted tactile Valentine’s Day cards, spreading love and positivity throughout the NCW community. Their hard work paid off, raising an impressive £80 profit.
The group was keen for the money to go to a meaningful cause, and they were passionate about supporting a charity within Worcester. After some discussion, they decided that buying supplies for a street kitchen helping those in need would be the perfect way to give back.
Last week, the students and Mrs Rossoman visited Tesco with a shopping list provided by Worcester Street Kitchen. Together, they carefully selected several bags of non-perishable food items. Mrs Rossoman then delivered the donations to the charity, which provides meals for up to 60 homeless people in Worcester every Monday to Thursday.
We’re incredibly proud of our students — and Mrs Rossoman — for their compassion, teamwork and community spirit. A fantastic effort that shows the power of giving back.
