NCW Students Shine at British Blind Sport Swim Gala

Earlier this month, a group of NCW students proudly took part in the British Blind Sport Swim Gala in Birmingham. This annual event is always a highlight of the NCW calendar, but this year was particularly special as it marked the 50th anniversary of our charity partners, British Blind Sport.

To add to the excitement, we were joined by a wonderful crowd of parents and grandparents, whose cheers and encouragement filled the venue with energy. The atmosphere was electric, with NCW supporters screaming and celebrating every race like no other!

Our students competed with determination and joy across a range of events, including:

  • Front Crawl

  • Backstroke

  • Breaststroke

  • Relay

The gala was not only a sporting success but also a celebration of community, resilience and partnership. We are proud of every student who took part and grateful to British Blind Sport for continuing to inspire and empower young people through sport.
