The autumn term got off to a riveting start as our new Year 12s packed their bags and set off to Snowdonia for an Activities Induction Weekend!
Students set up camp in Arthog and wasted no time at all as they scarpered to the beach to lap up the sun, have a paddle and enjoy a spot of lunch.
On Sunday, the group visited Castell y Bere – a castle perched on a steep-sided rocky plateau which has been a ruin for 600 years. It was a bit of a scramble up to the top, but the impressive views towards Cadr Idris made it worthwhile!
The weekend was a great opportunity for Year 12 students who have recently joined NCW to get to know the students who have moved up from the lower school.
Well done all!
