Community comes together for Sound Bath at New College Worcester

We recently held a transformative and inclusive Sound Bath event to help raise funds for essential student resources and equipment at New College Worcester.

The event, hosted on campus, welcomed members of the local community for a unique evening of healing sound therapy. Participants were guided into a deeply relaxing meditative experience through the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes, promoting emotional balance and wellbeing.

The Sound Bath was led by Laura from Deya Wellbeing, who specialises in wellness practices, making the session a perfect fit for the NCW community.

“We’re thrilled by the turnout and positive feedback from our first-ever Sound Bath event,” said Emma Williams, Fundraising Manager at New College Worcester. “Events like this allow us to raise both funds and awareness for the vital work we do, especially as we receive no government funding for equipment and extracurricular activities.”

All proceeds from the event will support NCW’s fundraising efforts for extracurricular activities, adaptive equipment, and specialist resources that empower students to build confidence, develop independence, and thrive in their education.

New College Worcester extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported the evening.

Our next Sound Bath event will take place on Saturday, 24th January. For more details or to book your place, please visit our website.
