My First Sleep Over @ NCW
A Taster Weekend for Year 5 & 6 Pupils who are Blind or Vision Impaired
🌟 Why Join?
For many children, a sleepover is a typical rite of passage — a chance to spend a night away from home, make new friends and build independence. For children who are blind or vision impaired, this experience can sometimes feel more challenging. At NCW, we want to make sure every child has the opportunity to enjoy their first sleepover in a safe, secure and supportive environment.
Confidence & Independence: Children learn to navigate new spaces with the support of our expert Mobility Team.
Friendship & Fun: Accessible activities designed to help children bond and enjoy themselves.
Expert Care: Our Residential Care Team and Nurse are on site throughout the weekend.
Family Reassurance: Parents can feel confident knowing their child is supported by specialists in vision impairment.
Purpose-Built Campus: NCW offers a specially designed, fully accessible campus created for young people who are blind or vision impaired, ensuring safety and independence at every step.
