Key Stage 3

To experience Art, Craft and design, some for the first time. To experiment with materials and gain some knowledge of simple making. To gain knowledge about chosen artists and have access to trips and visiting workshops.

Key Stage 4

To build up knowledge of processes and materials used in Art, Craft and Design. To gain an understanding of these processes and how they can adapt and use them to make work. Have access to visiting specialist for demonstrations/ talks and workshops.

Key Stage 5

Within Art, Craft and Design reinforce what they have already learnt throughout each Key Stage and use these processes to aid their work. To encourage them to research further into the subject, use museums, galleries and visiting artists as influences in their designs.
