Inspiring, nurturing and empowering young people with a vision impairment.

The Blindfold Mile

New College Worcester is launching ‘The Blindfold Mile.’ We are inviting people to take on the unusual and memorable challenge of walking a mile blindfolded whilst raising funds for NCW.

Our aim is to spread awareness of vision impairment and allow people to experience some of the challenges that blind and partially sighted people overcome each day.

This challenge can be done at any time of the year but a safe location is a must. All you need is a Guide and a blindfold.

We are always available to chat on the phone before the event and give you tips and advice on how to be guided safely.

As well as walking a mile, you could perhaps take the challenge by visiting a shop, going for a coffee or simply sit in your local park and listen!

Please contact [email protected] if you would like to discuss your event.

We are more than happy to share your fundraising pages and give you hints and tips on how to run a good fundraiser. We also would love to see photos of peoples’ ‘Blindfold Mile.’
